Weekend update

Friday - What a super fast day at work! First one of the big bosses brought in donuts :-), then 12 of us went to lunch and PF Chang's. It was so good. Amazingly with 12 of us we were out of there in an hour and fifteen minutes. Then, since we are moving soon we had about an hour of time set aside to clean and dust etc. Five came super fast!!
My hubby was golfing so I had dinner with my dad and then chilled at home.

Saturday - Got up super early to go shopping with Kristen. I have to say it was worth the hours in the car to go to the new scrapbooking store and the stamping convention. I did learn that no matter what online mapping system you use - you are bound to get one set of directions that just doesn't work. After 3 loops around Akron, and one frazzled phone call we did finally figure it all out.
After arriving home and showing off my purchases, I was set for a night in. I weeded the front lawn, made dinner and started on a gift I'm making for a friend that just had a baby. After all that it was still only 9pm. So I watched lots of random tv.

Sunday - We got up late, but managed to score free lunch with Rich's mom. Then we went grocery shopping and went to CVS (totally exciting - I know). After chilling at home for a while, and waiting to see if the rain would come we headed out. Since hubby had all the fun this week I got to pick what we did. So we played putt putt (I won!) and then headed in for some games. Hubby beat me at air hockey and I turned in my tickets for candy. I totally remember there being better prizes to pick from - I guess anything you can stick on your finger is cool when you are 4!
After that we called it a day and just chilled. We did watch Jar Head. Good movie, but a little on the long side. I mean how many shots must you show of them walking in the dessert??
