How do you brush a baby's teeth?

That's right - our little one is teething! She's a little young for it, but we certainly can't stop it.

It broke through yesterday (Daddy Day). Poor Rich said she just wanted to be held all afternoon - he does so well with screaming children!

I can't believe she has her 4 month check-up in 12 days. If all goes well she will start solid foods then too.

Is it wrong when a cartoon character reminds you of a real person?

I watched Cars at my dad's this weekend. The character "Mater" (pictured here) totally reminds me of someone I know. I fell awful as the character wasn't portrayed in the best light - oh well not like I will tell this person.

I do recommend this movie if you are bored one day though - cute and worth watching once.

Update

Let's see - what has gone on since I last posted.

1. Nina had her first illness. We are pretty sure it was just an allergy to the formula that the sitter had, but we will never know for sure as she won't be getting that again! Poor thing was the color of wallpaper paste when I picked her up. After some sleep and a lot of fighting to get the pedialyte down she was back to her normal self.

2. My neighborhood really needs sidewalks. Trying to walk a stroller in the bike path on Lakeshore Blvd. is hard, and kinda scary!

3. Martha Stewart in insane. This is a fact I have known for a while but has been reinforced since I picked up her Housekeeping book. According to her I have the dirtiest house on the planet!!

4. My newest Internet obsession - www.swelltown.com It's like fantasy sports for women! I suck at it - but I love it all the same.

Death to Haier!

So after just 2 years our fridge has died :-(

According to the repair man the fan that circulates the cold air "just stopped". Haier must know things like this as they only offer a 1 year warranty on their product.

We purchased the fridge for $399 from Best Buy. The extended warranty was $120. No one expects a fridge to die so quickly so we didn't buy it. Our mistake I guess.

God bless family help - our new totally awesome fridge gets delivered tomorrow. We will now have water in the door and an automatic ice maker! Those features make me overlook the fact that we could only get it in black!

Party Time!

Our friend Gabby had her first birthday party yesterday. Here is a picture of Nina in her "party clothes".

There were at least 11 kids/babies under the age of 10 and we had the best behaved!!!

Here are the Valentine's pictures we took yesterday. The other little girl is Cloe aka "the twin". She is almost 6 months older then Nina - it seems like a lot now but it won't when they are 2 and 2 1/2.
